I'm sure I could find a faster SBC that might do what I want, but suddenly I'm back to 'hundreds of dollars' per input to put together a way to orient my input properly. I built my own solution yesterday using an rPI4 + HDMI2USB capture card and it works, but the rPI is not fast enough to do 1080p30 - and has (what feels like as I have no way to actually measure it) about a 1200-1800ms lag - which for the entry price compared to a Decimator device is not terrible, but I know it would just drive me nuts. Unfortunately just a vertical flip isn't enough - I need a H+V flip or a 180deg rotation, and that clearly puts us back into DVE land - likely a 3D DVE.

I'd assume the Mini has enough RAM for this if it can take an input and conform it to be a specific HDMI output format, but I'm just speculating on how it's setup inside, hence me asking someone from BM to jump in to offer their thoughts. Yes I would have thought a vertical flip might be achievable with enough memory to hold the frame buffer and an encode from bottom to top.

MAYBE a vertical flip would be possible without using the DVE, but I don't believe a horizontal flip would be. Frank Engel wrote:As I understand it, in order to implement a feature like this, the signal would need to be processed through the DVE.
